Air Mekong (formerly Mekong Aviation) is planning to start operations on October 10 2010 (ten, ten, ten !)
The new airline will have a fleet of four 90 seater Bombadier aircraft which are due to arrive in Vietnam later tis summer planes, Air Mekong will have a route network which will include Ha Noi-Phu Quoc-Ho Chi Minh City route with more than 20 flights per day. This will bring the total of Vietnamese domestic airlines up to four, Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific Airlines, Vasco and Air Mekong.
