Air Mekong, Vietnam's fourth carrier after Vietnam Airlines, Indochina Airlines and VietJet AirAsia, has started flying following the granting of its operating certificate.
Air Mekong has launched its first two routes from Hanoi to Phu Quoc and from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc.
The airline started commercial operations on October 9 2010 with eight flights from Ha Noi and HCM City to Phu Quoc, Con Dao, Buon Me Thuot and Pleiku, also Air Mekong will expand operations in November, including flights to Da Lat in the Central Highlands and Da Nang city.
