Air Malawi is a regional airline, owned by the Government of Malawi, which affords access to this remarkable country as well as providing the main air link between the nation's capital, Lilongwe and the country's second largest city, Blantyre. Unusually for a national carrier the airline in not based in the capital but instead from its hub in Blantyre, Air Malawi operates a fleet of four aircraft on a route network including six destinations including one domestic destination, Lilongwe and four international ones: Johannesburg (South Africa), Harare (Zimbabwe), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania)and Lusaka(Zambia).
