Air Malawi

Air Malawi is the airline that calls itself "Africa’s Friendly Airline" is just that - smiling faces and warm greetings characterise this international airline based in Blantyre, which is Malawi’s largest city.

Air Malawi flights to Malawi

Malawi has two major concentrations of populations, Blantyre, the commercial centre, where Air Malawi is based and Lilongwe, which is the nation’s political and administrative capital.

Air Malawi fly twice daily between the two cities, as well as to a growing number of domestic and international destinations. Within Malawi, Mzuzu in the North of the country is served, as is Club Makokola, on the shores of Lake Malawi.

Internationally a service in conjunction with Air Zimbabwe links Lilongwe and London Gatwick and Dubai is also serviced from Lilongwe two times per week; Johannesburg has links from both Blantyre and Lilongwe, as does Harare. Nairobi and Dar es Salaam are both operated from Blantyre.

Air Malawi currently operate one Boeing 737 and one ATR 42 in their own right, but also have arrangements with other local carriers on international routes.
