From tomorrow (July 2nd 2011) holidaymakers flying with Air Europa will have additional routes available to them as the carrier has announced the launch of flights to Mexico City.
A total of four flights a week to the Central American city have been added to the firm's schedule.
It joins an already large number of South American destinations serviced by the company, which offers flights to Caracas as well as other locations.
"We hope that this additional service will further cement our position as the airline of choice to Latin America.," said Colin Stewart, UK general manager of Air Europa.
Among the other locations serviced by the carrier are Havana, Punta Cana and Buenos Aires.
Last year, Air Europa carried nine million passengers, which made it the second largest airline in Spain.
The company is also a member of the Federal Aviation Administration's AIRE programme, designed to reduce energy consumption and gas emissions.
