Air Comet was re-invigorated in 2007 with a new identity. It was once Air Plus Comet, but now has a new mission, as a full service scheduled airline with flights connecting Europe with Latin America. From its base in Madrid, Air Comet currently operates flights to Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Lima, Quito, Guayaquil, Havana, Santo Domingo, San Jose de Costa Rica, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, London, Paris and Rome. Air Comet’s owners, the Spanish Marsans Group, also control Aerolineas Argentinas.
Air Comet - Spanish Style
Air Comet was successfully operating charter flights for over a decade and its new identity selling direct to the public is proving a great success. The airline was unashamedly Spanish with Spanish food, Spanish spoken on board, Spanish flair and Spanish passion !
Air Comet was an Airbus airline with set of 3 each of A310’s, A320’s, A330’s and A340’s. They had also placed a massive order with Airbus for a further 75 aircraft.
