A new airline, AIr Bougainville, is to be launched fo operate new services between Bougainville and Solomon Islands.
Air Bougainville, Local shareholders have anounced that they are currently finalizing arrangements including an operating licence with the Papua New Guinea Civil Aviation Authority in Port Moresby.. The new airline pland to operate two Embraer Bandeirante aircraft currently undergoing full maintenance checks in Australia. The airline's full flying program will be released once approval of licences have been obtained.
