Air Baltic drops four destinations from Vilnius

Expanding Latvian carrier, Air Baltic, has announced that its will stop flying low cost services from Vilnius to Dublin, London, Rome and Paris from March 27th 2011.

Air Baltic stated that “both Ryanair and Wizzair have announced new routes in Vilnius that overlap with those served by airBaltic. The world is big enough, and we will walk away from the crowd, to avoid the other two airlines flying wing-to-wing with each other.

The Air Baltic network includes flights to Aalesund, Almaty, Amman, Amsterdam, Arkhangelsk, Athens, Baku, Barcelona, Beirut, Belgrade, Bergen, Berlin, Billund, Brussels, Budapest, Chisinau, Copenhagen, Dubai, Dublin, Dushanbe, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gdansk, Geneva, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Hannover, Helsinki, Istanbul, Kaliningrad, Kaunas, Kiev, Kittila, Kuopio, Kuusamo, Lappeenranta, London, Lulea, Madrid, Milan, Minsk, Moscow, Munich, Nice, Odessa, Oslo, Oulu, Palanga, Paris, Pskov, Riga, Rome, Rovaniemi, Simferopol, St. Petersburg, Stavanger, Stockholm, Tallinn, Tampere, Tartu, Tashkent, Tbilisi, Tel Aviv, Tromso, Turku, Umea, Vaasa, Venice, Vienna, Vilnius, Visby, Warsaw, Yerevan and Zurich
