Ukrainian carrier, Aerosvit, has opening bookings for its new London Gatwick to Kiev service starting March 02nd 2011.
The Aerosvit new flight will operate five days per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The service has a convenient morning departure from Kiev at 1105 local arriving Gatwick at 12:05, leaving Gatwick at 1355 arriving Kiev in the early evening at 1955 local. Aerosvit will be using an airbus A321 on the route and will be competing with national carrier, Ukraine International on the route.
Aerosvit revently took delivery of a Boeing 767 aircraft which will enable the company to increase the number of its transcontinental flights to New York (United States) to six per week and Bangkok (Thailand) to seven per week in addition to the increase of the number of its flights to Beijing (China) to four per week. In addition, the company's long-haul aircraft will be used on regular flights to Toronto (Canada) and New Delhi in winter 2010.
Also AeroSvit recently signed an agreement with the Boeing company to lease four Boeing 767-900ER aircraft during 2013-2014. AeroSvit is one of the largest passenger airline companies in Ukraine. It operates on more than 70 international routes with an aircraft fleet consisting of 13 medium-haul Boeing 737s and four long-haul Boeing 767s.
