Aerolineas Argentinas had added an eight Boeing 737-700 149 seater aircraft to its fleet as part of an agreed investment plan which provides for a total of 12 such new aircraft.   Aerolineas Argentinas is gradually replacing its current fleet of Boeing 737-200's with the longer range -700's which can fly on sector lengths of more than seven hours. The new aircraft are also much more fuel efficient, have lower maintenace costs and offer over all lower carbon emissions.
