Ecuador's AeroGal has confirmed it will launch services in December 2009 from Quito to New York (JFK) operating a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft owned by Colombian sister carrier,Avianca.
AeroGal currently operates one 757 along with nine 737-200s, one 737-300 and one 727, a further 757 aircraft will also be arriving from Avianca's fleet.
Parent company, Avianca, which is in the process of acquiring an 80% stake in Aerogal has recently announced the formation of a new mega Latin American carrier by combining with TACA of Central America.
