Virgin Nigeria AirwaysVirgin Nigeria is a joint venture between Nigerian financial institutions and Virgin Atlantic, which was set up in 2005 to become the flag carrier of Nigeria. Virgin Nigeria operates domestic, regional and intercontinental flights, currently they fly to Douala, Accra, Abuja, Calabar, Port Harcourt, Kano, Owerri, Sokoto, Dakar, Johannesburg,Abijan, Libraville as well as the flag carrying route to London Gatwick. The long haul routes operate a three class configuration: Economy, Premium Economy and Business class. The short haul routes omit the Premium Economy offering. Virgin Nigeria’s distinctive livery is on the side of 2 x Airbus A340-300 aircraft and 7 x Boeing 737-300’s.
