Mexicana is one of Mexico’s largest airlines and is based in Mexico City.

Mexicana operates both domestic and international scheduled services. It has a long 85-year history and since 2005 has been separately owned from its arch competitor, Aeromexico. This is a big airline flying to the US (16 destinations), Canada (Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto), South America (Bogotá, Caracas and Buenos Aires), Central America (Havana, San Jose, San Salvadore, Guatemala City and Panama City) as well as 23 domestic destinations Mexicali, Tijuana, Los Cabos, Ciudad Juarez, Mexico City, Leon, Acapulco, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, Morelia, Monterrey, Oaxaca, Cancun, Culiacan, Mazatlan, Villahermosa, Cuidad Victoria, Tampico, Minatitlan, Veracruz, Merida and Zacatecas.
