LOT Polish AirlinesLOT Polish Airlines are the national airline of Poland based in the countrys capital, Warsaw.
LOT AirlinesLOT’s strengths lie in its history and technical capability. It is an old fashioned airline in that it makes decisions slowly but implements them thoroughly. Financially - particularly compared with some of the new low cost entrants which are eating away at its market - its as safe as houses. Route wise it has two major hubs at the wonderfully named Frederic Chopin Airport in Warsaw and John Paul II Airport in Krakow, from which the major cities of Poland are served (Bydgoszcz, Katowice, Lódz, Poznan, Rzeszów, Szczecin, Wroclaw and Zielona Góra). As well as operating services from London Heathrow and Manchester in the UK, LOT also fly from Dublin, Ireland. With a modern fleet of Boeings and Embraer aircraft plus special offer fares pitched to compare favourably with low cost competition, LOT is definitely worth a look.
